He led his company to the number 11 over-all position among the Fastest Growing Companies in Pittsburgh according to The Pittsburgh Business Times and oversaw the sale of InspiraFS. For the past four years, he has been providing Fractional CFO & general consulting services as an independent consultant.

Bernie’s career spans more than 40 years and has centered around Sales, Sales Management and Marketing. These positions were primarily focused on Consumer Electronics & wireless products and services. His experience includes retail and wholesale client projects, direct management of multiple retail locations, communications technology sales to education, small & medium sized business as well as enterprise and government clients. Most recently he owned and operated a successful Amazon business.
New product launches are another area in which Bernie has succeeded on behalf of clients and employers. This includes but is not limited to team training on new products, advanced marketing of products to be launched, performance tracking and ROI modeling.

Mr. Lafon is a frequent keynote speaker, panel moderator or panelist at industry trade shows and is known globally as a thought leader in his field. He currently serves on several advisory boards within the wireless industry and periodically writes articles for wireless industry publications.
